About the Show

A recent favorite of Hot House Jazz Guide, and the DownBeat Critics Poll, organist and composer Brian Charette brings his hard-swinging quartet to the Dizzy’s Club stage. Together, the artists explore new music from his latest Cellar Live release Jackpot. Recorded at the legendary Van Gelder Studio, the recording features original tunes from Charette that reflect “jazz organ history with some new tricks and spins along the way.” His quartet comprises recent Dizzy’s leader Ed Cherry, Adam Nussbaum, and Joel Frahm.
